Karine Ghazinyan appointed Armenia’s Ambassador to the UK

President Serzh Sargsyan signed decrees on relieving Karine Ghazinyan of the position of Deputy Foreign Minister and appointing her Armenia’s Ambassador to the UK, Mediamax was told in the presidential press service.Mediamax recalls that the position of Armenia’s Ambassador to the UK was vacant since June 2010, after Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan had been appointed the Head of Diplomatic Academy of Armenian Foreign Ministry.
Karine Ghazinyan was also the chief negotiator from the Armenian side on concluding the Association Agreement with the EU.
Before holding the position of Deputy Minister she was Armenia’s Ambassador to Germany.
